I know most think I'm a radical right winger but I consider myself to be an informed individual, who wants the best for my family and this country. People, this country is headed down a path that isn't pretty and instead of being in denial or not worrying about it now, why don't you take the "Be Prepared not Scared" challenge with me. I sure hope I'm wrong and that everything will be ok but, I'm realistic and the facts are the facts. Our country is in serious debt, the economy is terrible and guess what that means.....we have to hit rock bottom before it gets better. So instead of freaking out and being "scared" for my family, I'm going to do my best, with the little money we have and get "prepared" for what could possibly be a melt-down of our society. I've been doing lots of research and trying to find simple, easy ways to start getting things in order. I found this great outline of getting your 3 month supply in 12 weeks. Please check it out and lets do this together.
So I'm going to update this blog every week and share with you what I'm doing to get "prepared". As we do this I would LOVE to hear your thoughts and ideas as well.
We are a nation of strong people who care and want to do the right thing. So lets encourage our family, friends and neighbors to all get "prepared" as well. We the people can get this great nation back on the right track......we can't rely on the government to help us. Just hard working Americans like you and me.

Now if your a real right winger doom and gloom expert such as I you might want to add silver and ammo to your formula! Silver will reach close to the same value of gold someday and people should consider atleast 2 guns, 1 to protect your family with and one that is good to kill wild game with. We really don't know how bad it could get but those two other things aren't bad to get. Silver will always have value so you can sell it down the road and guns will always be sought so easy to sell also.
