My kids LOVE taco soup and it is so easy. Here is the recipe to can 6 quarts (their are only 5 in the picture because we ate one for dinner that night)
Taco Soup:
-3 cans of kidney beans
-3 cans of pinto beans
-3 cans of corn
-3 cans of tomato sauce (16 oz size)
-3 cans of tomato paste
- 1 lb of ground beef (You can add more, I'm not a meat lover)
-4 Tbsp of Taco seasoning
mix all together in a big pot
once it is nice and hot pour into jars
then can away......
I canned with 15 pounds pressure for 90 mins
We eat it with corn chips and a dollop of sour cream....delish
